Hilangnya Frase ‘Agama’

Malam ini, Rabu 11 Oktober 2023 pukul 19.56 WIB tetiba aku dikejutkan dengan kiriman video di salah satu grup yang kumiliki. Video tersebut berisi informasi bahwa dalam draft peta konsep Kemendikbud 2023-2035 frase ‘Agama’ dihilangkan, diganti dengan frase ‘Budaya dan Akhlak Mulia’.
Sungguh sangat miris aku mendengarnya. Pasalnya agama tidak sebanding (jauh sangat) dengan budaya dan akhlak mulia. Akhlak mulia bagian kecil dari ajaran agama. Selain itu agama (samawi) bukanlah buatan manusia sehingga tidak masuk dalam budaya.
Memang ini baru draft, namun tetap harus dipantau dan dikawal. MUI sebagai wadah ulama di Indonesia sudah mengusulkan kepada DPR tentang ketidaksetujuan draft tersebut.
Sebagai orang beragama kita tidak dapat berpangku tangan terkait hal ini. Karena bagi kita umat beragama, agama merupakan pedoman hidup yang tak dapat digantikan oleh hal lain, apa pun namanya. Bukankah agama di Indonesia terjamin eksistensinya. Lalu mengapa agama harus dihapus dan diganti dengan budaya dan akhlak mulia?
