Kalo dulu kita ari jam segituh pada ngumpul di bale,baba udah pulang dari sawah,kita udah pada mandi rapi sila di bale,pamali dulu mah nyeng namanya mandi malem,kaga boleh pisan ama baba kita mandi setelah bengerep,karena bengerep waktunya bocah siap-siap pada sembahyang ama ngaji.
Lah kalo ari udah mo bengerep entuh suara kodok bancet pada manting bekaokan di timpalin dah ama suara tonggeret dari pu-un gonjing tempat sarang burung manyar nyeng kalo siang pada cetom suaranya,tapi entuh burung ngarti kalo ari mo magerib kaga pada besuara aplusan ama tonggeret romanah.
Abis makan entuh bocah pada bebaris di galengan nuju langgar pada mo ngaji ,kakinya pada ogah diem pada cecauk aer sawah godain ikan sik melik yang lagi meneng jadi pada buyar.
Tai iyeng pada ngambang di aer sawah makin merah kena pantulan mentari nyeng udah mao nyurup,bocah pada kedabangan kalo lagi jalan mo ke langgar eh ngiat kunang-kunang pada nongol dari tengah pu-un padi nyeng udah pada kuning,entuh bocah pada berebut ngudag kunang-kunang buat di tangkep .
Emang kalo ari menjelang malem dulu mah entuh nyeng namanya kunang-kunang pada manting abyor pada nongol kaya lampu dari tengah pu-un padi,bocah kalo giliran malem jumat pan pada pere ngaji lah abis sembahyang magerib bocah baru ge abis atahiyat udah pada bubar ngudag-ngudag tuh binatang.
Sebenernya entuh bocah ama kunang-kunang rada resep ama rada iseng,abis kata baba kalo cerita entuh kunang-kunang katanya kuku orang mati nyeng pada copot jadi entuh kunang-kunang.
Maleman dikit entuh suara jangkrik dari kolong bale mulai ambreg,pada ngerik dibalik umpak ganjelan tiang rumah,kalo dengerin suara jangkrik kita pengen belonjoran aja di bale sambil nyerudut enteh ama kue dodol biang nyeng masing nyisah abis lebaran,biar udah rada buluk entuh dodol kalo di siangin buluknya ,tengiknya ilang tinggal rasa manisnya yang kaga ilang dan tahan lama ampe kaya senyum abang ilok nyeng kata orang manisnya ngalain dodol bikinan enyak sarah .
