“Mas, ini lulusan S2 dari Universitas Negeri ternama, loh.” Sahabatku Mas Jarot menunjukkan CV salah seorang pelamar.
“Yang ini masih kuliah. Semester awal, pulang kayaknya belum berpengalaman.” Aku melihat CV Sorang pelamar.
Dan, hari yang ditentukan tiba. Ketika tes Microteaching, ternyata yang mahasiswa semester 1 lebih lihai dan detail menjelaskan materi. Sedangkan yang S2, berantakan.
Di Bimbel, jenjang pendidikan tidak terlalu berpengaruh. Hasil tes menentukan diterima atau tidaknya. Sebab, kemampuan mengajar tidak ditentukan oleh tingginya pendidikan seseorang.
Waktu di Primagama, tes tertulis saya menempati peringkat tertinggi dari total 12 peserta tes. Dan Microteaching saya pun besar nilainya. Padahal saya kuliah Agribisnis, bukan pendidikan.
Sobat. Hal ini juga berlaku dengan menulis. Siapa saja bisa jadi guru kita, asalkan dia punya pengalaman.
Tak perlu orang tenar atau ternama. Sebab pengalaman saya, yang tenar, pintar belum tentu bisa berbagi ilmunya.
Menguasai teori, berbeda dengan kemampuan menyapaikan teori. Begitu kira-kira.
Di dunia Bimbel yang saya geluti, semakin lihai kita menjelaskan, makin disukai. Makin banyak jam mengajar yang kita dapatkan. Otomatis, ketenaran akan menyapa.
Di dunia kepenulisan, orang yang terlatih akan mampu menyaingi orang yang tenar. Sebab berlatih dan berbagi ilmu, adalah kuncinya.
Ketika anda belajar menulis, menyerap ilmunya dengan ikhlas. Kemudian membagikannya dengan rela, maka anda akan menjadi penulis hebat yang dirindukan.
Dan ketika anda diminta menjadi mentor atau narasumber, saya yakin anda akan bisa sukses.
Apalagi jika anda menganut paham ATM (Amati-Tiru-Modifikasi).
Orang dengan pola seperti ini, ketika ia mendapat ilmu bagus tapi disampaikan dengan kurang bagus, akan menggali lagi ilmunya. Kemudian, ketika ia menemukan trik mudah memahami materi itu, dia akan lebih hebat dari pemateri aslinya.
Dan ketika ia menemukan mentor yang tepat, ia akan mampu menyerap ilmu lebih maksimal lagi. Kemudian, akan menjadikan mentornya sebagai sample dirinya. Dan dengan kemampuan modifikasi, dia akan menemukan caranya sendiri.
Sobat. Belajarlah dari siapa saja. Serap ilmu dengan baik dan benar. Bagikan ilmumu dan praktikkan. Bersyukur engkau mendapatkan ilmu itu. Niscaya, kau akan lebih hebat dan terkenal.
Berlatih dan terus menempa diri. Penulis hebat lahir dari latihan dan kedisiplinan. Abaikan setiap cemooh dan ejekan. Terus melaju hingga ke puncak tertinggi.
