Wabah Corona yang semakim merebak, meretas kekhawatiran tingkat dewa. Berbagai usaha memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus Covid-19 dilakukan semua pihak dengan full semangat.
Sekolah sebagai lembaga edukasi yang dihuni oleh generasi penerus negeri. Menjadi salah satu target yang harus diselamatkan. Peserta didik disesi kebijakan pertama 14 hari diliburkan.
SMPN 1 Setu sebagai salah satu sekolah induk di Kec.Setu dengan jumlah siswa 1205 siswa. Berdiri di atas lahan seluas 13.650 m. Areal yang cukup luas untuk disentuh dan dijamah. Perlu dana & tenaga ekstra untuk usaha pencegahan penyebaran virus corona. Terlebih jika penanganan hanya oleh pihak kami sendiri.
Alhamdulillah, dengan menjalin komunikasi yang baik, bantuan untuk Spraying Disinfektan datang silih berganti. Di minggu pertama bantuan datang dari Koramil 06 Setu, Polsek, serta Karang Taruna. Di minggu ke-2 bantuan datang dari Palang Merah Indonesia Kab. Bekasi. PMI Kab. Bekasi sangat cepat tanggap terhadap permohonan kami dari pihak sekolah. Surat permohonan untuk Spraying Disinfektan hanya kami kirim via email, dan pasukan PMI 2 hari kemudian datang ke sekolah. Sekelompok remaja sukarelawan turun dari sebuah minibus. Mereka berkemas, meramu formula disinfektan, dan langsung turun ke lapangan. Luar biasa. Bravo PMI Kab.Bekasi.
Semoga badai musibah wabah segera hilang. Segenap usaha dan doa kita maksimalkan. Mentaati anjuran serta mematuhi kebijakan pihak yang berwenang adalah cara aman untuk keselamatan.
