Pendidikan Indonesia telah bersusah payah mengembalikan sistem pendidikan yang merujuk pada karakter bangsa.
Pendidikan dengan mengedepankan pada penilaian yang seimbang antara sikap spiritual, sosial, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Penilaian ini bertujuan agar tertanam karakter bangsa Indonesia yang seimbang antara pengetahuan, kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, pada lingkungan, dan kepada keterampilan untuk generasi yang akan datang
Waktu terus bergulir dan pembentukan karakter bangsa mulai sedikit demi sedikit terlihat pada peserta didik. Dalam sikap sosial diterapkan sebelum masuk kelas dan ketika bertemu guru melakukan cium tangan.
Kegiatan cium tangan dilakukan pada pendidikan formal dan pendidikan di rumah. Pemerintah telah mengatur pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter ini dalam undang-undang. Hal ini berarti semua pendidikan baik sekolah dasar sampai menengah atas harus melaksanakan pendidikan karakter.
Sikap sosial yang diterapkan di sekolah bertujuan agar peserta didik dapat menjalankan pembiasaannya bercium tangan pada orang yang lebih tua sebagai rasa hormat.
Dengan merebaknya virus Corona, pembelajaran sekolah dialihkan di rumah. Semua peserta didik mengikuti belajar melalui online. Berbagai media dan teknik pembelajaran diterapkan guru dalam mengajarnya.
Peserta didik mulai aktif mengikuti materi pelajaran melalui online. Sikap santun mulai lupa di terapkan. Bahkan mereka lupa memberi salam walau hanya ucapan di mulut.
Memang dengan merebaknya virus Corona, membatasi kita semua untuk saling bersentuhan. Tidak ada cium tangan kepada orang yang lebih tua. Diam dan cuek mulai muncul pada anak-anak.
Oh, sungguh miris sekali ya. Virus Corona yang baru muncul beberapa Minggu saja mampu merubah sikap pada anak-anak yang sudah dibangun beberapa tahun ke belakang dalam kurikulum 13.
Untuk itu sebagai pendidik dan orang tua, mengingatkan anak-anak untuk selalu memberi salam dengan mulut pada semua apalagi kepada orang yang lebih tua harus selalu diingatkan. Meskipun kita tidak boleh bersentuhan,..🙏🙏🙏
